ArOne Announces 2 Board Member Openings

ArONE has 2 Board positions open. If you work well in a team environment and you are committed to the advancement of the Nursing Executive profession then ArONE needs you.

Directors serve for a term of two years and take office at the close of the annual meeting immediately following their election. No member shall serve more than two consecutive terms on the Board of Directors.

ArONE’s Board Members have the authority to:

1. Make policy decisions for ArONE.
2. Carry on the business of ArONE.
3. Establish rules and procedures for the Board of Directors and ArONE.
4. Approve or disapprove reports, resolutions, or actions of officers and Committees.
5. Approve an annual budget.
6. Perform such other duties as may be necessary to coordinate and advance ArONE’s Objectives.

 If you are interested in being a Board Member submit a resume to Louise Hickman, ArONE Secretary, (HickmanL@jrmc.org) 30 days in advance of the Annual Meeting in Little Rock held on October 9th in conjunction with the AHA meeting. Your name would be on the slate with other candidates and you will be asked to present yourself with a short bio. After each candidate has presented their bios, there will be an election and the new Board members selected.
